Schedule your pet's next wellness checkup to keep them happy and healthy.
All cats and dogs should have a yearly head-to-paw exam. It’s the only way to monitor their overall health and to preventively detect the appearance or development of any disease or disorder.
Please contact us if you have any concerns or doubts about your pet’s health or have an emergency situation. Our emergency service is available 24/7.
Here are some situations when you should call a vet for an initial evaluation:
During a routine exam, the veterinarian and their team examine all parts of the animal’s body. This includes checking their weight, height, body temperature, eyes, ears, coat, skin, teeth, gums, bones, joints, abdomen, lymph nodes, and listening to the heart and lungs.
The veterinarian will also ask you about your pet’s behaviour, lifestyle, diet, recent vaccinations, antiparasitic treatments, and so on. They’ll then be able to make some recommendations. They might also order lab tests (blood work, urinalysis or fecal tests) as part of the exam.
Many cat owners think that way. Cats are very good at hiding their physical ailments, and it’s only when they’re very sick that they show something is wrong. An annual checkup is a good way to detect any health problems early on and to act accordingly.
